Qatar’s LNG exports increase despite sanctions

Qatar exported more LNG in June 2017 than in June 2016 despite the sanctions imposed by its neighbours, according to official data.

Qatar exported more LNG in June 2017 than in June 2016 despite the sanctions imposed by its neighbours, according to official data.

The value of its gas exports rose by 15.8% to QAR 11.88 billion ($2.5 billion) in June. Meanwhile, the value of its oil product exports fell by 22.4%.
