Prelude FLNG arrives in Browse Basin

Shell’s Prelude FLNG vessel has arrived at the Prelude offshore gas field in the Browse Basin, 475 km northeast of Broome, according to The West Australian.

It has taken around a month for the vessel to be towed to the location since leaving the South Korean shipyard where it was built.

It now needs to be secured in place by mooring chains attached to piles driven into the seabed.
