Ukraine has launched a comprehensive EU-funded study of it gas storage facilities intended to help design strategy scenarios for their optimal use.

Ukraine has launched a comprehensive study of it gas storage facilities intended to help design strategy scenarios for their optimal use, state-owned Naftogaz Ukrainy said in a note on Monday.

The project, which is funded by the EU, will be implemented by a consortium that includes international law firm Cameron McKenna Nabarro Olswang and French storage operator Storengy.

The study is part of the country’s comprehensive reform of its gas market, which started in April 2015.
