Pakistan’s Sui Southern Gas Co. will construct a portion of the North-South gas pipeline that had previously been awarded to Russia’s state-owned Rostec because sanctions on Russia are limiting the available finance for the project, according to the Tribune.

A commercial agreement is expected be signed soon, and the formal groundbreaking ceremony for the project is expected soon afterwards.
