Ukrainian and Polish TSOs consider boosting cross-border capacity

Ukrainian gas transport system operator Ukrtransgaz and its Polish counterpart Gaz-System have proposed increasing the transmission capacity from Poland to Ukraine from 1 September, Gaz-System’s press service has reported.

A total of 250 thousand cubic metres (Mcm) of gas per hour (equivalent to 6 million cubic metres per day: MMcm/d) could be supplied via the Hermanowice gas metering station between 1 September 2017 and 30 April 2018 – an increase of 40% from current capacity, the company said.
