Mexico’s National Gas Control Centre (CENAGAS) has voided the country’s inaugural auction for annual capacity on state-run utility CFE’s cross-border pipeline network because of a lack of interest, Platts reported on Tuesday.

CFE Energia, the fuel subsidiary of CFE, auctioned 62.3 million cubic metres per day of capacity across four cross-border pipelines transporting gas from the United States to its southern neighbour on Monday.
