Ichthys LNG’s FPSO to sail soon

By Staff reporter 11 July 2017

The FPSO for Australia’s Ichthys LNG project could set sail soon, according to Hellenic Shipping News.

The unit is under construction in a South Korean shipyard and will be delivered to the Ichthys gas field offshore the Northern Territory.

The FPSO will be tied back to land via an undersea pipeline and is expected to start up by the end of March 2018.

The project delayed its start date from the end of 2017 as a result of contract disputes.
