Apache to complete withdrawal from Canada in three deals

Houston-based Apache has announced it will complete the company’s exit from Canada with the closing of three deals.

Apache has agreed to sell its Apache Canada subsidiary, which covers assets in the provinces of Alberta and British Columbia, to Paramount Resources.

In a second deal, Apache agreed to sell its Provost assets in Alberta to an undisclosed privately owned company.

These deals follow Apache’s sale of assets at Midale and House Mountain, located in Saskatchewan and Alberta, to Calgary-based Cardinal Energy in June.
