The premium of European prices to the Henry Hub benchmark suggests that Peru LNG, and its sole offtaker Shell, will continue to court the continent rather than take its cargoes to Mexico.  

Spain has received more than 64% of volumes exported by Peru LNG in 2017 to date. Mexico has imported only three Peruvian LNG cargoes so far this year, despite being the main customer in recent years.
