United States President Donald Trump has attempted to lay the foundations for a long-term LNG supply deal with Poland.

Addressing his Polish counterpart Andrzej Duda at a press conference in Warsaw on Thursday, Trump said the two countries could seal an LNG deal then and there.

"I think we can enter a contract for LNG within the next 15 minutes," Trump said. "Do you have anybody available to negotiate? It will take about 15 minutes."
