CNPC sells 2.7 bcm of gas to Shandong

China National Petroleum Corp.’s eastern China sales unit sold 2.7 billion cubic metres of gas in Shandong province in the first five months of 2017, an increase of 23% year on year.

The company’s Southwest Oil and Gas Field unit sold 12.8 bcm in the first half of the year, up by 18.4%.

The unit’s main customer is a gas-fired power plant owned by China Huaneng Group in the municipality of Chongqing.
