Brussels highlights growth potential for NGVs

The European Commission sees growth potential for natural gas and advanced biofuels in road transport and will release proposals to encourage their use

The European Commission will make key proposals later this year to address the potential for natural gas and advanced biofuels in the transport sector and the electrification of vehicles. 

Revised versions of the Directive on Combined Transport and the Directive on Clean Vehicles follow up on the commission’s strategy paper for low-emission mobility launched last year.
