France’s Engie has teamed up with supermarket chain Carrefour to develop bio-CNG as a fuel for trucks.

The two companies inaugurated an NGV filling station at La Courneuve, on the outskirts of Paris, on Tuesday.

Carrefour is aiming to open nine service stations across France by the end of 2017, allowing 200 trucks to deliver to 250 stores.
