The five-member panel of the United States Federal Regulatory Energy Commission (FERC) will be down to one commissioner after one of the last two members leaves this Friday.
The departure of Democrat Colette Honorable from FERC leaves Acting Chairwoman Cheryl LaFleur as the panel’s sole member. FERC has been without a minimum three-member quorum since February, leaving many gas and LNG projects and utility mergers in limbo waiting for approvals.
