A survey by EY suggests few young people in the United States are seeking a career in the oil and gas sector.
The company carried out its poll in Q1 this year, and the results suggest that only 26% of those belonging to ‘Generation Z’ (those aged roughly 16-20) and 45% of ‘Millennials’ (aged roughly 20-30) found oil and gas industry jobs appealing. EY surveyed 1,204 people in total.
