Perry talks up Trump’s plan for US energy dominance

United States Secretary of Energy Rick Perry voiced his support for President Donald Trump’s "energy dominance" agenda in a speech at an Energy Information Administration (EIA) conference in Washington this week.

Perry criticised former President Barack Obama’s administration, accusing it of slowing down the process of issuing oil and gas permits, Platts reported.

Perry said oil and gas production on federal land had declined and that permits "were slow-walked or slow-talked and then they were left to wither on the vine".
