Output from CNPC’s Amu Darya project hits 60 bcm

China National Petroleum Corp.’s Amu Darya River Gas subsidiary has supplied 60 billion cubic metres of gas to China since its project in Turkmenistan went online at the end of 2009.

China National Petroleum Corp.’s Amu Darya River Gas subsidiary has supplied 60 billion cubic metres of gas to China since its project in Turkmenistan went online at the end of 2009.

The development has 101 production wells and is capable of processing 17 bcm/y of gas. It had supplied 5.85 bcm so far in 2017 as of 2 June, meeting its supply target for the first half of the year nearly a month early.
