AGDC seeking expressions of interest in Alaska LNG

The Alaska Gasline Development Corp. is asking gas producers in the state’s North Slope region and potential customers how much gas they would be willing to sell to or buy from a proposed LNG plant.

The Alaska Gasline Development Corp. (AGDC) is asking gas producers in the state’s North Slope region and potential customers how much gas they would be willing to sell to or buy from a proposed LNG plant in the region, Alaska Dispatch News has reported.

AGDC officials said it is a "lighter version of an open season" to determine who might participate in the project.

Alaska LNG – the AGDC’s proposed three-train, 20 mtpa export plant – is expected to come online in 2023-2025.
