Brexit negotiations to start on Monday

Article 50 discussions on the UK's exit from the EU will start on Monday, the European Commission has said.

Michel Barnier, the European Commission's chief Brexit negotiator, and David Davis, UK secretary of state for exiting the EU, agreed on Thursday to launch Article 50 negotiations regarding the UK’s exit from the EU on 19 June, the European Commission said on Friday.
