Chinese gas output up by 10.5% in May

China’s gas output rose by 10.5% on an annual basis in May, to 12.0 billion cubic metres – the lowest volume since October 2016, the National Bureau of Statistics said on Wednesday.

The country’s output in the first five months of 2017 rose by 6.8% year on year, to 62.9 bcm.
