Oil and gas companies have made five new discoveries in Pakistan over the past four months, Shahid Khaqan Abbasi, Pakistan’s minister for petroleum and natural resources, was reported as saying by The News.
This brings the total number of discoveries in Pakistan over the past four years to 98. All of the discoveries have been made in Sindh province and are expected to produce 2 million cubic metres per day of gas and 636 barrels per day of oil.
