Chinese ex-works LNG prices averaged RMB 2,985/t ($8.47/MMBtu) last week, down by 2.76% from a week earlier. Twenty-one plants in Hebei, Shanxi, Henan, Hunan, Shaanxi and Xinjiang cut their asking prices by an average of 2.42% week on week to improve competitiveness against LNG terminals. Eight plants in Inner Mongolia, Xinjiang, Shaanxi and Henan hiked prices by 3.71% from the previous week as a result of increasing downstream gas demand.
