Brazilian power company seeks Bolivian gas supply contract

Âmbar Energia, a power company owned by Brazilian conglomerate J&F Investimentos, is seeking a long-term gas supply contract with Bolivia from 2019, according to local press.

The fuel will feed Âmbar’s 480 MW gas-to-power plant in Cuiabá, which is in the western state of Mato Grosso.

The company’s Cuiabá Integrated Energy Project also includes a set of gas pipelines to transport the fuel from Chiquitos in Bolivia to Cuiabá.
