LNG imports at Rudong terminal hit 14 mt

PetroChina’s Rudong terminal in Jiangsu province has received 14.14 mt of LNG since it went online in April 2011, equal to 13% of total domestic LNG imports, and supplied 20 billion cubic metres of regasified LNG, according to the government of Nantong, where the facility is located.

The terminal has earned operating income of nearly RMB 6 billion ($880 million) in total. It is capable of supplying 40 million cubic metres per day and selling 2 mt of trucked LNG annually.
