The United States Senate Committee on Energy and Natural Resources has approved President Donald Trump’s four nominees for energy positions.
Neil Chatterjee and Robert Powelson were approved to fill vacant seats at the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC), both would serve as FERC commissioners.
The five-member agency has lacked a quorum since Commissioner Norman Bay resigned at the end of January. The Senate Committee also approved David Bernhardt as deputy secretary of the interior and Dan Brouillette as deputy secretary of energy.
