Woodside agrees long-term LNG supply contract with Pertamina

The Singapore branch of Australian oil and gas producer Woodside Energy has agreed a multi-billion dollar long-term LNG sales-and-purchase agreement to supply Indonesia’s state-owned Pertamina, starting in 2019.

It is Woodside’s first long-term supply contract with Indonesia and "is likely to be the largest-ever single trade deal between Australia and its northern neighbour", The Australian reported.

Woodside Singapore has committed to supply around 0.6 mtpa from 2022 to 2034, with the option to increase this to around 1.1 mtpa from 2024 to 2038. The gas will be...
