Victoria looking to FSRU to ease gas shortages

By Staff reporter 5 June 2017

The government of the Australian state of Victoria is looking to secure an FSRU to help tackle its gas supply shortage, according to The Age.

Victoria has huge gas reserves in the Bass Strait but needs more available gas now.

The floating terminal would be located near Melbourne, and the government is in talks with energy giant AGL.
