Eni and Snam to develop CNG and LNG plants in Italy

Eni has signed a framework agreement with transmission system operator Snam for the development of CNG and LNG stations in Italy.

Italian major Eni has signed a framework agreement with transmission system operator Snam for the development of CNG and LNG stations within Eni’s network of refuelling plants in Italy, the company said in a note on Thursday.

The framework will help Snam accomplish its plan to have up to 300 new CNG stations in place by 2021 by investing €150 million ($168 million).
