Woodside Petroleum is looking towards the expansion of existing projects as sources of future growth rather than committing to new projects, as bringing new developments online in the current market is challenging, Peter Coleman, the company’s chief executive, was quoted as saying by The Sydney Morning Herald.

The company is aiming to capitalise on growing demand in Asia, particularly from emerging markets such as Pakistan.
