BOEM announces lease sale off Alaska’s southern coast

The United States Bureau of Ocean Energy Management (BOEM) is preparing a lease sale for Alaska’s south-central coast covering 441,000 hectares.

The Cook Inlet Oil & Gas Lease Sale 244 is scheduled for 21 June and will offer 224 blocks stretching from Kalgin Island in the north to Augustine Island in the south.
