CNOOC’s Shenzhen LNG terminal passes safety inspection

China National Offshore Oil Corp. has said its Shenzhen LNG terminal has passed a comprehensive pre-production safety inspection, paving the way for the start of trial operations.

China National Offshore Oil Corp. (CNOOC) said its Shenzhen LNG terminal has passed a comprehensive pre-production safety inspection, paving the way for the start of trial operations.

Ten experts conducted a systematic pre-production safety review of the 4 mtpa project, which is 70/30 owned by CNOOC and Shenzhen Energy.

After two days of on-site inspection and discussion, the experts agreed that the construction, installation and commissioning of Shenzhen LNG conformed to the relevant safety requirements and passed all government inspection criteria.
