Ukraine increases gas production by 78 MMcm so far this year

Ukrgasvydobuvannya, a subsidiary of Ukrainian national energy company Naftogaz Ukrainy, increased its gas production by 78 million cubic metres (MMcm) over the first four-and-a-half months of 2017, the company said in a statement on Thursday.

This exceeds the increase of 77 MMcm made during the whole of 2016, it added. The higher figure is the result of Ukrainian gas market reforms, the company said.
