Four companies shortlisted to build Matabari LNG terminal

Power Cell has shortlisted four companies to build the Matarbari LNG terminal in Bangladesh.

Power Cell has shortlisted four companies to build the Matarbari LNG terminal in Bangladesh, according to Hellenic Shipping News.

The shortlist includes Shell, Mitsui, Petronet, and a consortium of China Hanqiu Contracting and Engineering and Yifeng Industrial Gas. The selected bidder will gain a 60% stake in the development and implement it as the EPC contractor.

The proposed project is an onshore terminal with an import capacity of 3.5 mtpa.
