PV Gas gears up to build Mekong Delta pipeline

Vietnam’s PetroVietnam Gas (PV Gas) is preparing to build a $1.27 billion pipeline in the Mekong Delta this year after receiving government approval last month, according to the Nikkei Asian Review.

The project will be a joint venture between PV Gas, Japan’s Mitsui Oil Exploration and Thailand’s PTT Exploration and Production.

The 431km pipeline, 292 km of which will be offshore, will connect Block B to Kien Giang province and the city of Can Tho.
