Japan’s Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI) has pledged to support the export of low-emission gas and coal power technologies to developing countries, according to the Nikkei Asian Review.
This includes a programme for Japanese power companies to transfer technology to countries such as Vietnam, Thailand and Indonesia with the intention of boosting exports and finding opportunities before international rivals.
