Baltic Pipe project will launch by 2022

Poland and Denmark are in the final stages of talks over the Baltic Pipe, and the project should be launched by 2022, Piotr Naimski, the Polish government’s representative for strategic infrastructure, told Polish news channel TVP Info on Monday.

"Talks with our Danish partners are in the last stage, and we can expect that this plan [of connecting Poland to Norwegian gas deposits] will be completed with [the pipeline] launch by the end of 2022," Naimski said.
