Spot LNG prices in Japan, South Korea, China and Taiwan rose last week from the previous week for the first time in nearly three months as buyers bought more of the fuel to prepare for increased air conditioning demand during the summer. The $5.33/MMBtu average price was a 1.35% increase and the highest level since early April.
