North African pipeline volumes continue to slide

Volumes exported via pipeline from North Africa to Europe continue to drop, falling by 3.6% last week from the previous week

North African pipeline exports to Europe fell by 3.6% in Week 19 from the previous week, to 664.8 million cubic metres (MMcm). Exports through the Maghreb-Europe pipeline fell by 9.8%, to 131.0 MMcm, having risen by 3.3% in the previous week. Transit via the Medgaz pipeline rose by 0.2%, to 123.4 MMcm, while volumes of Algerian gas sent to Italy via the Trans-Med pipeline rose by 1.0%, to 319.7 MMcm.
