A hefty reduction in Bolivian gas exports to Argentina in early May has caused political friction between La Paz and Buenos Aires. 

Bolivia exported 15.1 million cubic metres per day (MMcm/d) to Argentina between 1 and 7 May, according to data from Bolivian state-run YPFB.
