Canadian gas distribution company Enbridge plans to start operations on its 42.5 million cubic metre per day (MMcm/d) Nexus gas pipeline by the end of 2017, the company said in an earnings call on Thursday.
The project is still waiting for approval from the United States Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC).
The Nexus pipeline is designed to deliver gas to markets in Ohio and Michigan, as well as Canada’s Dawn Hub.
