Scan Inter and Sojitz to invest in Indonesian CNG plans

Thailand’s Scan Inter, a gas trader and CNG station operator, has joined with Japan’s Sojitz to invest in gas-related businesses and expand operations in Southeast Asia.

Thailand’s Scan Inter, a gas trader and CNG station operator, has joined with Japan’s Sojitz to invest in gas-related businesses and expand operations in Southeast Asia, according to the Bangkok Post.

Sojitz will use its experience in the gas sector to develop new gas cylinders for cars.

The companies are targeting Indonesia, which plans to have 5,000 CNG filling stations.
