Russian gas exports to non-CIS up by over 15% in April

Exports of Russian gas to non-CIS countries increased by more than 15% year on year in April 2017, to 15.1-15.2 billion cubic metres, data from Gazprom shows.

Gazprom produced 35.7 bcm of gas in April 2017, 14.8% more than in April 2016. The company has been boosting its gas production for six consecutive months since last November.

Gazprom Deputy Chief Executive Vitaly Markelov said last week that the company’s production target for this year is 430 bcm.
