Guyana’s Minister of Natural Resources Raphael Trotman has said associated gas from the country’s vast offshore reserves could supply a 200 MW power plant.
"There is going to be excess gas and we are told that we may be able to access about 1.4 million cubic metres per day, which [...] may give the country a 200 MW gas generating plant [and] become the answer to all of our generation problems," he was quoted as saying by local press.
