The Sakhalin 2 LNG plant exported around 2.1 mt to the Asia Pacific region between January and March 2017, a year-on-year drop of 27%, Sakhalin customs told Interfax.

The total value of exported gas was approximately $541.4 million, down by 44.4% from the same period in 2016.

"The significant drop in value terms is due to a fall in global prices for hydrocarbons," customs said previously.
