CNOOC subsidary shipping final core modules to Yamal LNG

China National Offshore Oil Corp.’s Offshore Oil Engineering subsidiary (COOEC) will ship the last 16 of 36 core modules for the Yamal LNG project to Russia in July, China Daily reported on Monday.

The modules are scheduled to arrive on 20 July, 10 days ahead of schedule.

The first 20 modules arrived in Russia in January. COOEC signed the $1.64 billion deal – its largest overseas contract – with Yamal LNG in 2014 for Module Fabrication Work Package 1, which includes building the 36 core modules for...
