Saudi Arabia plans to build 30 solar and wind projects over the next 10 years as part of a $50 billion power generation programme.
The kingdom intends to produce 10% of its power from renewables by 2023, Energy Minister Khalid al-Falih said at a conference in Riyadh on Monday, according to Bloomberg.
Saudi Arabia has invited bids to build 700 MW of wind and solar power capacity and plans to tender for a further 400 MW wind capacity and 620 MW of solar capacity....
