AGDC applies to export gas from Alaska’s North Slope

The Alaska State Gasline Development Corp. filed an application with FERC last week to build a pipeline and other facilities to export gas from Alaska’s North Slope.

The Alaska State Gasline Development Corp. (AGDC) filed an application with the United States Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) last week to build a pipeline and other facilities to export gas from Alaska’s North Slope, the Alaska Dispatch reported.

The estimated $40-45 billion Alaska LNG project will receive North Slope feed gas via the 1,290 km pipeline to Nikiski.

FERC will seek public comments related to a draft environmental impact statement and later issue a final impact statement.
