Gazprom subsidiary forms JV for Yamalo-Nenets project

Gazprom subsidiary Gazprom Dobycha Yamburg and Russian businessman Artem Obolensky’s RusGazDobycha have registered a 50/50 JV.

Gazprom subsidiary Gazprom Dobycha Yamburg and Russian businessman Artem Obolensky’s RusGazDobycha have registered a 50/50 joint venture, named RusGazAlyans.

The JV will develop the Parusovoye, Severo-Parusovoye and Semakovskoye fields in the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous District. The FID for the project, which will cover both onshore and offshore work, is scheduled for 2019. Production is expected to start in 2021 with plateau output of 16.5 billion cubic metres per year expected to be reached by 2030.
