Forty-one plants in Inner Mongolia, Xinjiang, Ningxia, Shaanxi, Sichuan, Jiangsu, Shandong, Henan, Shanxi and Hebei cut prices by an average of 5.1% month on month as a result of softening demand after northern Chinese cities switched off district heating in mid-March.
