Exxon planning to plunge into Brazilian deep water

ExxonMobil is seeking to gain access to Brazil’s lucrative deepwater oil and gas resources, The Wall Street Journal reported on Tuesday.

The supermajor is in talks with state-run Petrobras about a potential joint venture and is also interested in buying stakes in offshore acreage that will be sold later this year, the newspaper said.
